In 1991, Al Stoffel and a partner founded Shoreline Press. Al started in the printing business with NCR Corporation in 1973, as a salesman for the print division. He was promoted to Sales Manager, and after several years took a position with Unisys Corporation. Following his successful years at Unisys, Al accepted a job with Bowater Computer Forms. Three years later he founded Shoreline. In 2000, Shoreline acquired more sophisticated equipment and entered the higher-end, four-color process market with the purchase of a large format, five-color Komori press. In 2003 Al became the sole owner of Shoreline Services, Inc. Al's decision to sell Shoreline was a difficult one, as he has a passion for pursuing his interest in film making.
